Hello DADA members! Just a reminder that the streets will NOT be blocked for gallery hop tomorrow ( we normally do not block January and February anyway ). The forecast unfortunately is calling for a lot of rain SO this will allow hop goers to drive to DADA member locations. Also we want to introduce another something new we've been working on that will get added to the website every month. We will have a page called " A Day in the Arts District ". On this page we will feature a DADA member every month as well as have a photo gallery for that months Gallery Hop. Although the page is not up yet, we will be sharing January's Featured Artist, Rachael Fern (who is also DADA's board member over membership). Rachael has graciously agreed to be our guinea pig for our first video. The video will be added to the page along with an artist bio on her as well as how and where you can find her work. We are hoping that this new feature will show everyone that we are a community of all different walks of life and bring some much needed attention back into the Art's District. SO with that said, we will be tracking down DADA member artists and businesses within the next month or so and filming the footage for the videos, so look out for us!
